since then it has been one of the most popular cover song,& it go many covers.
this cover is by Ivri Lider from the movie "The bubble". this song is the main theme of the movie-which tells a love story between a israeli guy and an arab one.
it's actually twisting the original meaning of the original song abit ...but it's refreshing and the cover is a great piano cover. .

this is not usually my musical taste- but her no.1 hit single "smile"- really makes me wanna smile.it's groovy enough to pass the ears,and just make you wanna be on the beach,holding margarita and dancing....

I really don't think a singer like Bob Dylan is need to be introduced.
so i will just tell you a few intresting facts on today's candy morning "just like a woman":

*Dylan wrote this ballad on 1965 . It was allegedly inspired by Warhol factory pin up girl Edie Sedgwick.

*Some say it could also be about his relationship with fellow folk singer Joan Baez.

With Ben Gibbardo doing the vocals and Jimmy Tamborello the electronics- the postal service is a great electoronic-pop band.it's funny to call them "a band" cause they did the music through the post- they used to send cd's to one another-a cd with electro-beat music from l.a -came back with lyrics & vocals.that explains the name of the band & the result is infront of you..

The twilght singers "king only" song is one of there best song i think.
this week they are coming to israel for 2 shows-and that- for it's self- is a very good reason for opening this week with this song.

Gonzales ,also known as "Chilly Gonzales" is a Canadian Jewish musician.he is actually known for his electro albums,but the "solo piano" album is one of the surprises that his listeners learned to adjust too.
it is a MUST cd to the ones that loves piano.there are songs that sounds just like a movie sountrack (like the first one named "gogol"),there are sad tunes and cheery tunes- but all and all this is ,in my opinion,Gonzales best cd.

The "gogol" theme,which is this morning candy- is a lovely way to open the weekend,try it with a glass of wine...

Fischerspooner is Warren Fischer and Casey Spooner.they have a very unique sound,which is not easy to ajust to.this song is from the're "Odyssey" album ,which is a headphone album,that rewards the close listener with new sounds.
they do all kinds of video which i find interesting since it really connects to the electronic side of this music.enjoy!

Thought the cure first album is an 80's album-they will always be a "90's band" for me.
in the 90's I remember myself listening to they're "wish" album over and over again. they was my favorite band back then, and sometimes when I'm in a nostalgic mode I'm coming back to the a few of they're albums.

"just like heaven" came out in 1987 in the "kiss me kiss me kiss me" album, but I think I discovered it much later in my life.
According to Rolling Stone magazine, this is also Robert Smith's favorite Cure song..
This is basically one of the sweetest love song ever written in my opinion-
sometimes it's hard to notice that when the cure is playing the guitars & therefore I'm brining the acoustic version of it.

They got only 3 albums but they are great, got a very unique sound, and every album of them is a perfect atmosphere music.

This song is the kind of songs that sticks into your head all day so get used to it …
It’s a great candy for a sunny day, and since it's Wednesday (here comes the weekend!)

Tori Amos is one of my favorites singer-songwriters. though her songs usually dark and gloomy," taxi ride" from the album " Scarlet's Walk" (2003) has a much cheerful melody then the rest of her songs (sometimes it even reminds me of Alanis Morissette…)
it's a classics Tori Amos song if you listen to the words, and it's a great opening song for this morning.
