Born in the U.K. is the fifth album released by singer-songwriter Badly Drawn Boy, The album's title is a reference to Bruce Springsteen’s 1984 album Born in the U.S.A..
This is his first album in EMI label- and that's probably why all the critics blame him for compromising on his music, saying he is a bit too poppy, too much "James blunt", or "Elton john" piano sound like.
Well, I love this album & have a special place for his music (he is good at the simple lyrics as well).
It's good. Try it.
This is the closing song of the album-
Badly drawn boy-one last dance
my morning candy
An mp3 candy every morning
